Every account requires a valid UK university email address. No .ac.uk, no account — on either side of the ride.

Verified profiles, not anonymous listings

Transparent profiles on both sides. See university, year of study, and rating before you commit. No anonymous listings. Every profile is tied to a real, verified student identity. Maybe even have mutual friends.

Two-way ratings after every ride

Drivers rate passengers. Passengers rate drivers. A reputation system that works because everyone has a real identity at stake.

Cost-sharing, not profit-making

Flock fares are capped by HMRC cost-sharing rules. Drivers recover fuel costs. This keeps everyone legal, insurance-valid, and protected.

Fewer empty seats. Lower emissions.

Most cars travelling between cities carry one person. Flock fills those empty seats — cutting per-person emissions and making the greener choice the cheaper one too.

Verify your .ac.uk

Sign up with your university email. We verify you're a current UK student — that's the only requirement. Every single person on Flock has passed this same check.

Post or find a ride

Heading home for the holidays? Post your route and pick up passengers going your way. Need a lift? Find a driver already making your journey.

Share the cost

Fares are split fairly — you pay a fraction of the equivalent train fare. The driver covers their fuel. Flock takes a small booking fee. Everyone saves.
